The Assay TV: Bert Koth, Managing Director & Partner, Denham Capital Mining Fund

December 10, 2020
in The Assay TV
Reading Time: 1min read

Assay TV caught up with Bert Koth, Managing Director & Partner at Denham Capital Mining Fund to discuss the risks associated with capital scarcity in mining.

We discuss the economics of running a mining company, where the capital is being allocated (and where it’s not), ESG considerations, communication and negative sentiment towards the mining industry, and the implications of capital scarcity for the mining industry as we move out of the COVID-19 pandemic. We also look at the role of private equity and other alternative sources of funding to fill that financing gap.
