The Assay TV catches up with Luke Alexander, president, CEO, and director of Newcore Gold (TSXV: NCAU | OTCQX: NCAUF), a company focused on advancing its flagship Enchi gold project located in Ghana. The land package consists of 40km of Ghana’s prolific Bibiani Shear Zone, a gold belt which hosts several 5Moz gold deposits nearby.
Luke tells us about Newcore’s recent high-grade diamond drilling results within Enchi, which he says highlights the potential for underground sulphides at the project along with its first ever underground resource estimate that was put out earlier this year.
Additionally, he talks about the significant de-risking the project has undergone, including high recoveries within oxides and significant metallurgical testing. Luke says Newcore is pleased that there are lots of opportunities to continue chasing high-grade mineralization to depth and along strike at Enchi.
