The Assay TV speaks to John Ciganek, managing director of Vanadium Resources (ASX: VR8), a junior vanadium developer that owns 74% of the world-class, tier-1, Steelpoortdrift vanadium licensed mining project in Limpopo Province, South Africa.
John explains that the project is a significant undeveloped vanadium deposit with a measured, indicated, and inferred JORC resource of 680Mt @ 0.70% V2O5 (in situ grade).
The company recently announced a DFS following a rigorous process conducted by independent vanadium experts, which John says has confirmed the robustness of the project, with an NPV of A$1.4B and 25-year life of mine.
