The Assay TV chats with Gregory Liller, executive chairman and COO of Sierra Madre Gold & Silver (TSXV: SM | OTCQX: SMDRF) at 121 Mining Investment London, a precious metals development and exploration company operating in Mexico focused on restarting the La Guitarra mine, along with exploring and developing its Tepic and La Tigra properties.
Greg starts by giving some history behind the company and how Sierra Madre came to be, along with his experience and what drew him in, namely the company’s flagship project. The La Guitarra mine is a permitted, past-producing underground mine which includes a 500tpd processing facility that operated until mid-2018, with a recent 373% increase in measured and indicated silver-equivalent resources.
Finally, Greg also touches on the company’s other Mexican venture, the Tepic project, a +2,600ha prospect with low-sulphidation epithermal gold and silver mineralization and an existing historic resource.
