The Assay TV meets with Ernesto Balarezo, CEO, and director of Sierra Metals (TSX: SMT | OTC: SMTSF) at 121 Mining Investment London, a Canadian mining company focused on copper production with additional base and precious metals at its Yauricocha Mine in Peru, and Bolivar Mine in Mexico.
Ernesto speaks of the company’s recent turnaround in which the company has completed a successful transition of executive level management and has instilled a more “hands on” approach to operations.
Also, Sierra has recently had several new key discoveries and has more brownfield exploration opportunities in Peru and Mexico that are within close proximity to the existing mines.
The company expects to receive its 11-20 permit at Yauricocha in the coming weeks which will allow Sierra to increase the mine’s production.
