Renforth Identifies Rare Element Enriched Anomalies at Surimeau Property

Renforth Resources Inc. (CSE: RFR | OTCQB: RFHRF | FSE: 9RR) has announced an update on its rare element exploration programme at the Surimeau property in Quebec, Canada. J J Minerals Inc., commissioned by Renforth, has identified 11 rare-element enriched pegmatites and anomalies which have lithium mineralization potential.

“This report, authored by rare element pegmatite experts, demonstrates that there is lithium potential at Surimeau, which we will explore,” stated Nicole Brewster, president and CEO of Renforth.

Renforth commissioned J J Minerals Inc. to aid them in planning the 2023 lithium prospecting season at their wholly owned and underexplored, ~330km2 Surimeau property.

“Lithium is another facet to Surimeau, adding to our ~29km of magnetic structures bearing nickel polymetallic mineralization and our copper discovery in the north of the ~330km2 property. We look forward to learning more about lithium on our property with our work this summer.” Brewster added.

Renforth conducted grab sampling and mapping from May to July 2022 with a total of 229 samples sent to assay labs. This mapping and sampling focused on the southern part of the property.

11 anomalies (A to K) were identified based on elevated Li, Rb, Cs, Be, Nb, Ta, and Sn contents within the assayed samples. Of the 11 rare-element anomalies identified by J J Minerals, clusters A and D have the most potential to host lithium mineralization.

Anomaly cluster A has a 150m strike length with increasing Li, Be, Nb, and Ta contents based on 11 assayed grab samples collected. The samples are enriched in rare-elements and contain coarse-grained muscovite and tourmaline clots which are indicator minerals for lithium pegmatites. The NW-SE trend is the same orientation as Vision Lithium’s Cadillac spodumene dykes.

Anomaly cluster D has a 440m strike and is enriched in Rb, Be, Nb, and Ta consistently contain coarse-grained muscovite based on eight assayed grab samples. It plots within the Decelles Reservoir Batholith, which is the same setting as Vision Lithium’s Cadillac spodumene pegmatites.

Renforth will be targeting outcrop identified through satellite imagery, prospecting the exploration targets including the fertile Decelles batholith, and the identified high priority anomalies and pegmatites, for lithium at Surimeau during the summer.
