The Assay TV spoke with Ed Turner, Chief Executive Officer at Kingwest Resources (ASX:KWR).

Kingwest is a gold focused explorer and developer with two projects in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australian. The Menzies Project has very high-grade historic production of 800,000 oz @ 19g/t Au. Kingwest is actively updating Mineral Resources as well as undertaking a Scoping Study with the aim of recommencing open cut mining in the next 12 months. At the same deeper exploration drilling is testing for extensions to the high-grade shoots. At Goongarrie initial aircore drilling has recently made a discovery that included 38m @ 3 g/t Au from 62m including 6m @ 17g/t Au.

Key investor takeaways
1. Low valuation per resource ounce.
2. High chance of additional resource increases in short term.
3. Rapid development possible via toll treatment of Menzies ore means low capital expenditure required to get into production.
