Warriedar Resources Limited (ASX: WA8) has mobilized a second Reverse Circulation (RC) drill rig to its highly prospective Murchison tenure and commenced drilling at the Baron prospect within the Fields Find Project in Western Australia.
This drilling, being undertaken by contractor, Challenge Drilling, represents the first major exploration programme to explore for primary gold mineralisation at Baron in over seven years.
The planned Phase 1 programme at Baron comprises approximately 5,000m and is designed to assess scale potential. Step-out drilling is designed to test beneath and along strike from the existing deposit.
The programme is also set to test for targeted parallel lodes to the northwest and south of the existing lode. Initial assay results from drilling at Baron are expected to commence being received from late April.
This drilling at Baron is part of the overall 40,000m programme that Warriedar expects to drill across its Murchison Projects during 2023. The first RC rig (Top Drill) continues to drill key target locations across the Golden Range Project.
