The panel on Securing Global Supply Chains at the 121 Mining & Energy Singapore event examined the state of the global supply chains and impacts seen on the industry over the past few years as more and more industry players work to secure raw materials.
The issue of securing critical minerals is examined as it relates to supply chains and the ways in which the world is de-globalizing in order to maintain a secure supply. The role of OEMs in securing offtakes is another way in which supply security is being developed.
The panel also discusses the stages at which traders are willing to get involved in projects and why.
