Newcore Gold Ltd. (TSXV: NCAU) has released promising new assay results from its 35,000m drill programme at the Enchi Gold Project in Ghana, highlighting significant gold mineralization that supports both resource growth and grade enhancement.
Key results from the Boin Gold Deposit include:
Hole KBRC352: 2.25g/t gold over 56.0m from 96m, including 3.83g/t gold over 15.0m from 122m.
Hole KBRC344: 1.16g/t gold over 72.0m from 104m, including 3.06g/t gold over 10.0m from 114m
These results contribute to the company’s ongoing efforts to upgrade inferred resources to the indicated category and evaluate deeper mineral potential across the project.
“We are thrilled with the continued strong results from the 35,000-metre drill programme underway at Enchi, with this set of results from Boin encountering some of the best intercepts to date at Boin, on a gram by metre basis,” said Luke Alexander, President and CEO of Newcore. “Drilling is not only encountering wide zones of mineralization and proving out the strong continuity of mineralization, but also continues to encounter higher-grade intervals that are above the currently defined resource grade.”
The Enchi Gold Project covers 216km2 along Ghana’s Bibiani Shear Zone, a prolific gold-producing region. Newcore aims to further expand the resource base and evaluate the scalability of the project.
