European Metals’ Cinovec Mineral Deposit Designated as a Strategic Deposit

European Metals Holdings Limited (ASX: EMH | AIM: EMH) has announced that the company’s Cinovec mineral deposit has been designated as a strategic deposit for the purposes of the Czech Construction Code, simplifying and shortening permitting.

Keith Coughlan, executive chairman, commented, “The designation of the Cinovec Project as a strategic deposit is a significant milestone which has been achieved through the diligent work of Geomet and CEZ. This designation will enable the project timeline to be expedited and provides a clear signal of the importance of the development of Cinovec by the Czech Government for both the European car industry as well as the EU green transition.”

This designation helps accelerate permitting processes by expediting approval processes, reducing any administrative burdens, prioritizing the environmental impact assessment (EIA) review, and legitimizing the use of exceptional procedures.
