Bryah Resources Limited (ASX: BYH) has commenced a flora survey on its manganese mining licences in the Bryah Basin, Western Australia, as part of its joint venture with OM (Manganese) Ltd (OMM), a subsidiary of OM Holdings Limited.
The survey is a critical step in the environmental approval process, facilitating the project’s progression towards production. The manganese project encompasses a mineral resource of 3.06 million tonnes at 20.1% manganese. OMM has completed a $1.8 million earn-in, securing a 60% stake in the project and is funding the current study.
Chair Ian Stuart remarked, “As demand for manganese begins to rise and the price strengthens, it is opportune that the JV is progressing through the approvals required to bring the project into production.”
