The Assay TV catches up with Michael Parker, executive director of Solis Minerals (ASX: SLM). The company is building a significant copper portfolio around its core tenements of Ilo Este and Ilo Norte in the Coastal Belt of Peru.
Solis has recently confirmed the presence of copper and associated elevated molybdenum mineralization in initial reconnaissance sampling at the recently acquired Canyon Project in Peru.
Follow up work at the Canyon Project will include remote sensing, mapping, and rock geochemistry aimed at defining the most prospective zones within the large 25,600ha application area.
