Assay TV hears from Aurora Davidson, President, CEO and Director of Amerigo Resources (TSX: ARG, OTCQX: ARREF), about its Minera Valle Central (MVC) operation, which produces copper – and molybdenum as a by-product – by processing fresh and historic tailings from the El Teniente Mine, which is operated by Chilean sate-owned company Codelco.
Amerigo Resources has a long-term strategic partnership with Codelco, which is the world’s largest copper producer, to process its tailings until 2037. This helps to reducing the Codelco’s tailing footprint and better manages the environmental risk associated with its operations.
