Zacapa Resources Ltd. (TSXV: ZACA | OTCQB: ZACAF | DE: BH0) has closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement previously announced on 7 June 2022 (the “Offering”) and issued 3,162,678 units at a price of C$0.45 per unit for gross proceeds of approximately C$1.4M.
Crescat Capital LLC (“Crescat”), a strategic investor, participated in the Offering and has acquired 2,222,222 units, with an option to partake in future financings to maintain its interest in Zacapa if Crescat holds greater than 5% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the company.
The net proceeds from the sale of the units will contribute to the exploration and drilling of Zacapa’s projects, including the South Bullfrog gold project in Nevada, working capital and general corporate purposes.
The company may conclude one or more additional closing of the same Offering. The closing of the Offering is subject to final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.
