Sky Metals Launches Major Drilling Campaign to Expand High-Grade Tin-Silver-Tungsten Zones at Tallebung

Sky Metals (ASX: SKY) has kicked off a significant new drilling campaign at its 100%-owned Tallebung Tin Project in central western New South Wales, following the success of a 143-hole RC drill program that uncovered multiple shallow, high-grade tin-silver-tungsten zones.

The new program, comprising over 100 RC and diamond drill holes, is designed to:

  • Extend standout intercepts, including TBRC171 (3m @ 686.3g/t silver & 0.96% tin from 24m), one of the highest silver grades recorded at Tallebung
  • Expand newly discovered high-grade zones on the deposit margins
  • Infill drilling to support an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) due in early 2026

Additional highlight intercepts from the previous campaign include:

  • TBRC253: 5m @ 1.63% Sn from 6m (incl. 1m @ 7.44% Sn & 13.9g/t Ag)
  • TBRC216: 40m @ 0.24% Sn & 26.6g/t Ag from 31m
  • TBRC201: 2m @ 4.28% Sn from 16m
  • TBRC218: 6m @ 1.32% W, 20.2g/t Ag & 0.10% Sn from 21m

A second rig will soon be mobilised for diamond drilling to collect structural and geotechnical data for mine design. First assay results are expected in December, with ongoing updates into 2026.

In parallel, bulk metallurgical testwork is underway to optimise ore sorting and gravity processing, aiming to produce a saleable concentrate. Environmental studies are also progressing to support future mining approvals.

Oliver Davies, Managing Director & CEO of SKY Metals commented, “We’re excited to be drilling again at Tallebung following the remarkable success of our latest 143-hole drilling program, with another large drilling program now underway. The intercept in TBRC171 is a standout result from the last program, and we’re keen to follow up on this zone as well as the other high-grade tin, silver and tungsten intercepts from the latest drilling. Our drilling programs are continuing to highlight the growing scale and shallow depth of the tin mineralisation at Tallebung. SKY is well funded for this upcoming program to continue to rapidly advance the Project toward development.”
