SKY Metals Ltd. (ASX:SKY) announced a series of high-impact drill results from the Tallebung Tin-Silver Project in New South Wales, Australia, highlighting the discovery of multiple new zones of shallow, high-grade tin and silver mineralisation.
Key intercepts include:
- TBRC253: 5m @ 1.63% tin from 6m, including 1m @ 7.44% tin and 13.9g/t silver from 6m
- TBRC254: 8m @ 0.34% tin and 72.1g/t silver from 88m, including 2m @ 0.46% tin and 144g/t silver from 92m
- TBRC255: 9m @ 0.31% tin and 37.7g/t silver, including 1m @ 1.44% tin and 232g/t silver from 34m
- TBRC232: 13m @ 0.26% tin from 41m, including 5m @ 0.57% tin and 16.7g/t silver from 49m
In addition, re-assaying of TBRC171 has upgraded the previously reported intercept to 3m @ 686.3g/t silver and 0.96% tin from 24m, using a method better suited to high-grade silver zones—boosting silver grades by over 5%.
Oliver Davies, Managing Director & CEO of SKY Metals commented, “These results underscore the scale and quality of the Tallebung system. The upgraded silver grades and new shallow tin zones reflect the strength of our geological team and open up exciting new targets for follow-up drilling.”
With drilling approvals expected imminently, SKY is preparing to launch a new campaign targeting extensions to the high-grade silver zone in TBRC171. The program will include over 100 holes, combining diamond and reverse circulation (RC) drilling, aimed at expanding the mineralised footprint and fast-tracking development.
The Tallebung Project continues to demonstrate strong potential as a district-scale tin-silver system, positioning SKY Metals as a key player in the critical minerals space.
