Sarytogan Graphite Limited (ASX: SGA) has delivered the final batch of assays from its reserve definition drilling campaign at the Sarytogan Graphite Deposit in Central Kazakhstan, marking a key milestone in its Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS).
Key Highlights:
- The program targeted infill drilling for the first 25 years of planned mining, to a depth of 50m, supporting an upcoming Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve upgrade.
- Assays from 17 holes confirm consistent, high-grade graphite mineralisation. Notable intercepts include:
- 50.2m @ 34.5% Total Graphitic Carbon (TGC) from surface, including 29.2m @ 40.1% TGC in hole StM-37
- Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve updates are now underway with WSP consultants.
Sean Gregory, Managing Director of Sarytogan Graphite commented, “The final batch from the Reserve Definition Drilling campaign have been received. The results have returned many thick intersections of high-grade graphite, and improved resolution of the grade continuity within the ore body. The results will feed into a planned Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve upgrade as part of the DFS underway.”
WSP is updating the Mineral Resource for the Central Graphite Zone, aiming for higher categorisation levels. The DFS remains on track for mid-2026 completion, supported by process engineering and cost estimation work by Wood.
