Ranchero Gold Corp (TSXV: RNCH) has appointed Andrew Wilson as an independent director and chair of its Audit Committee.
Andrew brings extensive capital markets and natural resources experience, having founded Stellium, a firm focused on business development, investor access, and strategic communications for growth-stage companies.
His background includes senior roles in equities and sales at CIBC, Haywood Securities, and a leading London stockbroker, as well as advisory service to renewable energy and mining clients. He is also vice chair of a £4.6B UK pension fund and has held local government audit leadership roles.
Concurrently, Martyn Buttenshaw has resigned from his executive position but will remain on the board.
Wilson’s appointment signals Ranchero’s intensified focus on corporate governance, investor relations, and capital market strategy as it advances exploration at its Sandspit gold project near Haida Gwaii, British Columbia.
