Osisko Metals Incorporated (TSXV: OM) has reported strong results from its 2025 drilling program at the Gaspé Copper Project in eastern Québec. A standout result from drill hole 30-1065 includes an intercept of 323.0m averaging 0.43% copper and 3.18g/t silver, with a high-grade core of 13.3m grading 2.50% copper and 17.8g/t silver within the C Zone skarn horizon.
Additional drill holes have extended known mineralization both at depth and to the south of the 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) model. Drill hole 30-1061 intersected 215.5m averaging 0.31% copper and 2.67g/t silver at a vertical depth of 712m. Meanwhile, hole 30-1067, drilled 215m south of the current MRE, intersected 136.8m at 0.32% copper and 3.18g/t silver from surface, suggesting the deposit remains open in that direction.
Osisko Metals CEO, Robert Wares, stated that the results validate the updated geological model and highlight opportunities for further resource growth. He added that upcoming drilling will target deeper stratigraphy, specifically at the base of the E zone.
The Gaspé Copper Project remains a strategic focus for Osisko Metals, as the company continues to explore and expand what was once one of Canada’s largest copper-producing districts.
