Osisko Metals (TSXV: OM) has reported a standout drill result from its ongoing 2025 drill programme at the Gaspé Copper Project in Québec. Drill hole 30-1089 intersected 645m averaging 0.28% copper, including a higher-grade section of 396.7m at 0.30% copper. This marks the longest continuous high-grade interval reported to date at the project.
The 2025 campaign includes both infill and expansion drilling aimed at upgrading and expanding the 2024 mineral resource estimate. Several additional holes returned strong results. Hole 30-1082 intersected 853.5m at 0.20% copper, including 424m at 0.21% copper below the current resource boundary. Hole 30-1083 returned 427.5m at 0.26% copper, including 328m at 0.24% copper that extended mineralization at depth. Hole 30-1087 encountered 334.5m at 0.23% copper, with a higher-grade interval of 74.5m at 0.62% copper in an expansion zone.
These results demonstrate continuity of mineralization and indicate potential for resource growth both laterally and at depth.
Located near Murdochville, Québec, the Gaspé Copper Project is the largest undeveloped copper-molybdenum deposit in eastern North America. The site benefits from existing infrastructure, including roads, hydroelectric power, and access to a nearby port.
Osisko Metals plans to update the Gaspé resource model in the first quarter of 2026, with drilling continuing to focus on converting inferred resources to higher classifications and extending the known mineralized zones.
