Osisko Metals Incorporated (TSX: OM; OTCQX: OMZNF; FRANKFURT: 0B51) has announced new drill results from its flagship Gaspé Copper Project, located in Québec’s Gaspé Peninsula. The latest intercepts highlight significant mineralization in the southern extension of the deposit.
Robert Wares, CEO of Osisko Metals commented, “These latest results continue to confirm significant higher-grade mineralization in the southern extension, with hole 30-1136 returning 64.5 metres averaging 2.70% Cu. We remain highly confident about the growth of our project and look forward to the updated Mineral Resource Estimate in early 2026.”
The reported results include 21 mineralized intercepts from eight new drill holes, comprising both infill and expansion drilling.
- Infill drilling targets resource conversion within the November 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).
- Expansion drilling tests extensions beyond the current model, with potential to add new resources in the next update.
The ongoing program aims to upgrade inferred resources to Measured and Indicated categories, while exploring deeper stratigraphy and lateral extensions toward Needle East and Needle Mountain. Notably, mineralization below the L1 skarn horizon (C Zone) suggests depth potential beyond the limits of the 2024 MRE.
An updated MRE is scheduled for Q1 2026, incorporating these new results and additional drilling.
