Osisko Metals Incorporated (TSX: OM | OTCQX: OMZNF | Frankfurt: 0B51) has reported its longest continuous mineralized intercept to date from the ongoing drilling programme at the Gaspé Copper Project in Quebec. Drill hole 30-1097 returned 1,117.5m averaging 0.25% copper, with additional values of 1.81g/t silver and 0.022% molybdenum, for a copper equivalent grade of approximately 0.35% CuEq.
The intercept is part of a broader drilling campaign aimed at both infill and expansion of resources across the property. To date, more than 65,000m of drilling have been completed using 10 rigs. The company noted that this result supports the potential for large-scale, continuous mineralization at depth, while still leaving room for expansion across multiple target areas.
Additional results released include hole 30-1100, which intersected 228.5m grading 0.25% copper; hole 30-1101, which cut 148.5m at 0.32% copper; hole 30-1104, which intersected 792.0m at 0.20% copper; and hole 30-1105, which contained two zones of mineralization with 110.5m at 0.20% copper and a deeper zone of 288.0m grading 0.19% copper.
According to the company, the ongoing programme is expected to provide data to support an updated mineral resource estimate, which is planned for release in the first quarter of 2026. The combination of long intercepts, consistent copper grades, and expansion drilling continues to demonstrate the scale potential of the Gaspé Copper Project, a past-producing district that remains underexplored at depth.
