Newcore Gold Ltd. (TSXV: NCAU | OTCQX: NCAUF) has released additional results from its ongoing 35,000m drill programme at the Enchi Gold Project in Ghana.
At the Kojina Hill target, an advanced zone without a defined mineral resource, the highest-grade intercept to date was encountered: 184g/t Au over 1.0m starting at 126m, within a broader 24m mineralized zone. Near-surface mineralization also includes 3.06g/t Au over 13.0m from surface, with higher-grade sub-intervals of 8.09g/t over 3.0m and 4.59g/t over 3.0m.
The release notes that all seven RC holes (totalling 970m) intersected gold mineralization, contributing to a cumulative 25,097m in 207 drill holes reported to date, representing a 98.5% hit rate for gold across the programme.
The objective of this phase is to support resource conversion (inferred to ndicated) and identify new zones for growth at the district scale. Drilling to date has reached an average vertical depth of approximately 125m, while resource areas remain open along strike and to depth.
