New Frontier Minerals (ASX:NFM) has announced new results from its exploration work at the Harts Range rare earths discovery, with two new prospects identified: Paddington and Westminster. These prospects are located approximately 200m and 450m west of the previously discovered Bob’s prospect.
The Harts Range project is comprised of two granted tenements and an application license totaling 135km2, approximately 140km north-east from Alice Springs
Key highlights from these prospects include:
- 10.61% TREO (Total Rare Earth Oxides) with 23.56% Nb2O5 and 15.67% Ta2O5 at Paddington
- 7.46% TREO with exceptional 96.69% HREO/TREO ratio at Westminster
- High concentrations of critical magnet rare earths including Dysprosium (up to 1.28%) and Terbium (up to 0.22%)
These two new discoveries, together with Bobs and Cusp, two previously identified prospects, form part of an east-west trending structural corridor that extends over 2km now.
