Iltani Resources (ASX: ILT) has delivered its highest-grade assay results to date from diamond drilling at the Orient Silver-Indium Project in Northern Queensland. Drillholes ORD004 and ORD005 from the Orient East infill programme returned spectacular silver-lead-zinc-indium mineralization, confirming a growing high-grade system that remains open at depth.
Drillhole ORD004 intersected 24m at 215.5g/t Ag equivalent (Ag Eq), including zones such as 1.46m at 494.4g/t Ag Eq and 1.20m at 1,612.2g/t Ag Eq.
Meanwhile, ORD005 delivered 46m at 198.5g/t Ag Eq, featuring the highest-grade interval yet recorded at Orient: 1m at 2,141.9g/t Ag Eq (equating to 805g/t Ag, 174g/t In, 20.73% Pb, and 10.35% Zn). Within the same hole, a 3.4m zone averaged 1,171g/t Ag Eq.
These results reflect an expanding, high-grade mineral system with significant continuity. Structural data from the oriented diamond core will support more accurate resource modeling. Mining One is now compiling an initial JORC-compliant Mineral Resource for Orient East, expected by late September or early October.
Separately, Iltani’s existing Orient West JORC Resource stands at 21.6Mt at 100.5g/t Ag Eq. Orient East holds an Exploration Target of 12–18Mt at 110–130 g/t Ag Eq, with exploration ongoing to convert this into a formal resource.
