Goliath Resources Limited (TSXV: GOT) has announced it has engaged JDS Energy & Mining Inc. to advance plans for an underground exploration adit at its Surebet Discovery, part of the company’s 100%-owned Golddigger Property in British Columbia’s prolific Golden Triangle.
The planned adit would provide direct underground access to the Bonanza Zone, a high-grade, gold-rich structure located about 200m above the valley floor. According to Goliath, the move is aimed at improving drilling efficiency, reducing costs, and enabling year-round exploration in a region typically constrained by weather.
“This underground adit would allow for faster, more efficient drilling and year-round access to high-grade gold zones,” said Roger Rosmus, Goliath’s Founder and CEO. “It’s a major step forward in advancing Surebet toward potential development.”
The company highlighted recent high-grade drill results from the Bonanza Zone, including hole GD-24-260, which intersected 34.52g/t gold equivalent over 39.00m, including a standout 10.00m section grading 132.93g/t gold equivalent.
JDS Energy & Mining will assess the technical and economic viability of the adit and outline the path forward for development. The initiative also supports Goliath’s broader exploration efforts at Golddigger, which spans over 91,000 hectares and lies near several past-producing mines, such as Eskay Creek and Premier.
Goliath holds a dominant position along 56km of the geologically significant Red Line trend, considered a key marker for mineralization in the region.
