Goliath Resources Expands Surebet Discovery With New Gold-Bearing Wedge Zones

Goliath Resources (TSXV: GOT) has identified two new gold-bearing volcanic wedge zones at its Surebet Discovery on the Golddigger Property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, confirming broad intervals of mineralization that connect the Bonanza and Golden Gate zones and significantly increase the overall mineralized footprint of the project.

The newly defined wedge zones contain quartz-sulphide mineralization with visible gold and have been intersected in multiple drill holes. Mineralized intervals typically extend between 10m and 50m in drill core, with grades of up to 3.60g/t AuEq and widths of up to 58m. Collectively, the wedge zones define a mineralized area measuring up to 310m in length and 110m vertically.

Goliath believes the lower-grade wedge zones act as a bridge between the higher-grade Bonanza and Golden Gate zones, creating a larger continuous mineralized rock volume that could improve the project’s bulk mining potential. The company has identified one wedge zone within the south-central portion of the system and another in a recently announced 540m step-out area to the southwest. Additional assay results from the 2026 drill programme remain pending.

The company also reported continued growth across the Surebet system, which now covers 2.01km², representing a 12% increase from the 1.8km² defined before the 2026 drilling season. The Bonanza Zone has expanded by 19% to 1.51km², while the Golden Gate Zone has grown by 38% to 1.17km².

Roger Rosmus, founder and CEO of Goliath Resources, commented, “Every drilling season at the Surebet discovery has brought pleasant surprises and we are seeing that again in 2026. Drilling the high-grade gold lodes/veins within the volcanics was part of the focus this year, and we now have two newly defined broader low-grade zones associated with the high-grade Bonanza and Golden Gate Zones. I would also point out that these volcanic wedges are in close proximity to the large NE Fault which could be a possible conduit. Considering the meters of drilling to date, north of 180,000, it is remarkable that as we follow the gold mineralization, we continue to expand the system. In a high-grade gold system it is unique to have such a large footprint as we have drilled at Surebet, and the widespread high-grade and tremendous amount of visible gold is clearly showing that the Surebet Discovery is ticking all the right boxes. For the past few drilling seasons, we have maintained that Surebet is the most important high-grade gold discovery in the Golden Triangle in many years, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger every drill season as well as pleasant surprises along the way.”
