Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd (CSE: GCC) has successfully closed a private placement, raising C$1.3249M through the issuance of 17.66M units at C$0.075 per unit. Each unit comprises one common share and one warrant, exercisable in stages, C$0.12 in the first year, rising incrementally to C$0.20 by year five.

A 6% cash commission, plus matching broker warrants, was issued to underwriters. Insiders contributed 1.8 million units (C$135,000), qualifying as a related‑party transaction under exchange rules due to their contribution being below 25% of Golden Cariboo’s market capitalization.

The funds will be channelled into drilling and trenching programmes at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine, located in British Columbia’s historic Cariboo district, known for its promising gold-bearing trends.
