Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC) has announced strong assay results from its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property near Hixon, British Columbia. Drill hole QGQ24-12 at the Halo Zone returned 1.02g/t gold over 37.00m, including a broader interval of 0.74g/t gold over 61.49m, starting near surface.
President and CEO Frank Callaghan stated, “Each new drill hole in our step-out programme continues to validate the strength and accuracy of our geological model. The consistency of mineralization we are seeing, particularly along the contact between argillite and greenstones, is highly encouraging. With visible gold now identified in 12 out of 13 holes, the potential scale of this zone is becoming increasingly evident.”
The mineralized zone at the Halo Zone now measures approximately 390m by 290m by 320m and remains open along strike and at depth. The company is continuing to focus exploration efforts on expanding this promising area through ongoing drilling.
