Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC | OTC: GCCFF) has announced additional encouraging results from its ongoing diamond drill programme at the Halo Zone on its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Project, located near Hixon, British Columbia.
The latest drill holes, HZ24-11 and HZ24-12, both intersected strong veining and visible gold, extending the mineralized corridor identified in earlier holes.
The company notes that visible gold was observed in both holes, with HZ24-12 intersecting strong quartz veining approximately 20m from the projected collar location of the upcoming HZ24-13 hole, which is designed to step out from earlier intercepts. These results continue to confirm the expansion potential of the Halo Zone along strike.
“This is a strong start to our 2024 drilling season,” said J. Frank Callaghan, president and CEO of Golden Cariboo. “The presence of visible gold in these holes is extremely encouraging as we aim to further delineate the mineralized system at Halo. We’re excited to continue stepping out along this promising trend.”
Golden Cariboo’s Quesnelle property sits along the historic Barkerville Gold Belt and is fully permitted for continued exploration. The company plans to provide further updates as drilling progresses.
