Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC) has announced further encouraging results from its ongoing drill campaign at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property near Hixon, British Columbia, with recent drilling continuing to define the scale and grade potential of the emerging Halo Zone.
Hole QGQ24-08 intersected quartz veining with up to 1% visible gold and associated sulphide mineralization, adding to a growing inventory of high-grade hits. This follows on from earlier reported results, including 11.8m of 5.58g/t gold in QGQ24-06 and 17.4m of 5.64g/t gold in QGQ24-07.
“These latest intercepts reinforce the potential of the Halo Zone to host a significant high-grade gold system,” said Frank Callaghan, president and CEO of Golden Cariboo. “We’re seeing consistent mineralization in every hole drilled to date, which gives us confidence as we work toward defining a robust resource in this underexplored part of British Columbia.”
The Halo Zone lies within the Quesnel Terrane, a historically productive but still largely untapped gold region. Golden Cariboo plans to continue drilling throughout 2024 to further delineate the zone’s extent and grade continuity.
