Future Battery Minerals Reports Strong Gold Assay Results from Miriam Project

Future Battery Minerals Ltd (ASX: FBM) has announced promising assay results from the first 24 holes (~2,800m) of its Phase 2 Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at the 100%-owned Miriam Project in Western Australia’s Goldfields region.

Key Highlights:

  • Emerging Multi-Lode Gold System: Drilling at the Forrest and Forrest South prospects (22 and 2 holes respectively) has revealed extensive oxide and fresh rock mineralisation, indicating a developing multi-lode gold system that remains open in multiple directions.
  • Strike Extension: Significant gold mineralisation has been extended 150m south, with mineralisation now identified over a 500m strike. Notable intercepts include:
    • FGRC027: 12m @ 12.18 g/t Au from 48m (146gxm)
    • FGRC024: 6m @ 10.76 g/t Au from 131m, within 25m @ 3.28 g/t Au from 119m to EOH
    • FGRC025: 12m @ 1.25 g/t Au from 117m and 16m @ 0.98 g/t Au from 16m, incl. 8m @ 1.73 g/t Au from 16m
    • FGRC032: 12m @ 1.35 g/t Au from 16m
    • FGRC028: Multiple fresh lode intercepts including 4m @ 1.83 g/t Au from 114m
  • Fresh Rock Potential: Several fresh rock intercepts suggest sub-vertical lodes with potential for a larger-scale gold system.
  • Northern Extensions: Drilling to the north-east and north-west confirmed continuation of shallow oxide and fresh rock mineralisation:
    • FGRC012: 21m @ 1.00 g/t Au from 18m, incl. 6m @ 2.14 g/t Au
    • FGRC013: 16m @ 1.13 g/t Au from 20m and 7m @ 0.81 g/t Au from 136m
    • FGRC014: 1m @ 8.05 g/t Au from 35m
    • FGRC023: 2m @ 3.91 g/t Au from 41m
  • Next Steps:
    • Assays from the Canyon prospect are expected in the coming weeks.
    • Phase 3 drilling at Miriam is scheduled to begin in late November.
    • Heritage surveys are complete over the northern half of Miriam, enabling access to regional prospects including Burbanks Monarch, Goroke, Blue Bell, and Grand Junction.
    • Soil sampling will commence shortly to refine targets ahead of H1 2026 drilling.
  • Financial Position: FBM remains well-funded with A$5.3 million in cash and zero debt as of 30 September 2025.
  • Corporate Update: A name and ticker change to Ore Resources Ltd (ASX: OR3) is planned, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
