Future Battery Minerals (ASX: FBM) has uncovered strong gold potential at its 100%-owned Burbanks East project in Western Australia, following a comprehensive review of historical exploration data. Located within the prolific Coolgardie goldfields, the project sits near several significant deposits, including the Burbanks and MacPhersons Reward gold mines.
The company has identified six distinct surface gold anomaly zones across a 2.7km strike length, with minimal historic drilling to date. Past drill results have returned promising shallow intercepts, including high-grade gold over short intervals, suggesting immediate upside for follow-up work.
With a new litho-structural review underway to refine targeting, Future Battery Minerals is preparing to begin reverse-circulation drilling at its nearby Miriam project in July, while advancing exploration plans for Burbanks East.
Backed by a strong cash position and no debt, the company is well positioned to accelerate exploration across its growing Western Australian portfolio.
