International Graphite Completes A$4.4M Placement to Support Growth Plans

byThe Assay

International Graphite Limited (ASX: IG6 | FWB: H99) has completed its A$4.4M placement, bringing new strategic investors onto the register as the company advances its graphite processing operations in Australia and Europe.

The placement, approved by shareholders earlier this month, included participation from Xcelsior Capital and an associated family office, alongside existing long-term shareholders and company directors.

Under the second tranche, IG6 issued approximately 58.8 million new shares and 55 million two-year options, exercisable at A$0.08 per share. The company intends to seek ASX quotation of the options.

The funds will be used to support development of IG6’s graphite processing strategy, including progress at the Collie Micronising Facility in Western Australia, as well as providing additional working capital.

Construction activity at Collie continues to advance, with earthworks and civil works increasing over the past month. The company also confirmed it has achieved Milestone 3 under the Western Australian Government’s A$4.5M Collie Industrial Transition Fund grant, with a further drawdown expected in the coming weeks.

Following the next grant payment, approximately A$2.5M of government funding will remain available for the project.

IG6 noted that the investment from Xcelsior Capital strengthens its strategic links with the Wogen group of companies, supporting the company’s commercial and supply chain ambitions as it moves closer to production.
