Sky Metals Limited (ASX: SKY) has reported new high‑grade tin‑tungsten‑silver results from its ongoing multi‑rig drilling campaign at the Tallebung Tin Project in central‑western New South Wales, further extending the mineralised footprint and confirming significant southern strike potential.
Recent reverse‑circulation drilling continues to intersect thick, shallow high‑grade zones across the deposit. Standout intervals include:
- TBRC317: 8m at 1.18% Sn and 0.25% W from 41m, including 3m at 2.88% Sn
- TBRC296: 46m at 0.26% Sn and 30.2g/t Ag from 15m, including 3m at 2.18% Sn from 47m
- TBRC304: 24m at 0.34% Sn and 31.5g/t Ag from 101m, including 4m at 1.02% Sn and 131g/t Ag
- TBRC302: 25m at 0.27% Sn, 0.09% W and 17g/t Ag from 7m, including 2m at 0.76% Sn and 0.25% W
Surface sampling has also confirmed a substantial southern extension, with cassiterite‑bearing rock chips grading up to 1.35% Sn and 1.10% Sn with 18.2g/t Ag collected from newly identified historical workings outside the current Resource boundary. Follow‑up drill holes targeting these new zones are already approved and will be integrated into the active multi‑rig programme.
Sky said the results reinforce the scale and growth potential of Tallebung, where two RC rigs continue to advance both extensional and infill drilling aimed at supporting the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate and ongoing mine planning work. Geological logging, structural interpretation and expanding geotechnical datasets are feeding directly into mine design studies.
The company has also initiated the NSW State Significant Development (SSD) approvals pathway. Environmental consultants have been engaged to prepare the Scoping Report, and Sky has appointed a new environmental manager to accelerate baseline studies, community engagement and future Environmental Impact Statement requirements.
Oliver Davies, managing director and CEO of Sky Metals, commented, “These latest results continue to reinforce the outstanding growth potential of our shallow, high‑grade tin‑tungsten‑silver system at Tallebung. The confirmation of high‑grade mineralisation both in drilling and at surface provides clear opportunities for near‑term resource growth. With the State Significant Development process now underway and a dedicated environmental team in place, our approvals work is advancing rapidly in parallel with drilling and technical studies.”
With multiple rigs operating and new priority targets emerging, Sky said Tallebung remains firmly on track for continued resource growth while progressing toward development readiness.
