Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG | OTCQB: LGCXF | FSE: Y2F) has reported new drilling results from its Santa Fe Mine Project in Nevada, including the discovery of a previously unrecognised gold zone west of the Slab deposit.
Drilling at the Slab West target intersected gold mineralisation in four out of five holes, with highlights including:
- 61.0m at 0.26g/t AuEq
- 35.0m at 0.34g/t AuEq
The newly identified zone remains open in all directions and has the potential to host additional resources.
At the Calvada area, a geotechnical hole returned 90.8m at 0.44g/t AuEq oxide, including 12.3m at 1.22g/t, extending mineralisation below the current resource pit shell and supporting depth potential.

The drilling program was initially designed for permitting‑related geotechnical work but has also confirmed additional mineralisation, contributing to resource confidence and expansion potential.
Kimberly Ann, chair and CEO of Lahontan Gold, commented, “The discovery of Slab West is an important development for the Santa Fe project, with early drilling already defining a large and continuous mineralised zone. At the same time, geotechnical drilling continues to support permitting while confirming additional mineralisation at depth.”
