Goliath Resources Ltd (TSX-V: GOT; OTCQB: GOTRF; FSE: B4IF) has released a fresh set of high-grade drill results from the Surebet discovery on its 100%-owned Golddigger project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, reinforcing the scale and continuity of the gold system across multiple vein and dyke domains.
The latest update covers ten additional core holes targeting the Bonanza and Surebet zones, as well as an Eocene-aged reduced intrusion-related gold (RIRG) dyke system. All holes intersected substantial quartz-sulphide mineralisation, building on a 2025 programme that ultimately totalled 64,364m of drilling across 110 holes at Surebet.
Stand-out intercepts include deep high-grade hits
Among the new results, drillhole GD-25-383 is highlighted as a stand-out intercept, averaging 7.28g/t gold over 8.00m within a broader interval grading 5.85g/t gold over 10.00m in a steep RIRG dyke at a depth of roughly 417–427m, around 500m above the valley floor. Within that intersection, Goliath reports sub-intervals of 9.20g/t gold over 5.92m and 12.75g/t gold over 4.02m, each with multiple occurrences of visible gold.
Other notable intervals from the Bonanza and Surebet zones include:
- GD-25-311: 15.13g/t gold over 3.00m in the Bonanza Zone and 2.6g/t gold over 4.01m in the Surebet Zone, both in quartz-sulphide veins with visible gold
- GD-25-370: three Bonanza Zone veins, including 5.66g/t gold over 5.05m and 9.24g/t gold over 3.05m
- GD-25-387: 4.05g/t gold over 6.13m, including 5.36g/t gold over 4.15m (Bonanza Zone)
- GD-25-385: 6.59g/t gold over 4.00m, including 8.4g/t gold over 3.13m (Surebet Zone)
- GD-25-398: 3.73g/t gold over 6.77m, with 5.41g/t gold over 4.64m and a second interval of 2.68g/t gold over 3.00m (Bonanza Zone)
- GD-25-378: 4.83g/t gold over 4.54m, including 6.28g/t gold over 3.44m (Bonanza Zone with visible gold), plus 2.49g/t gold over 9.12m (Surebet Zone)
- GD-25-410: 4.18g/t gold over 5.14m, including 5.28g/t gold over 4.06m, extending the Bonanza Zone strike length to around 1.25km
- GD-25-356: 4.98g/t gold over 3.87m (Bonanza Zone with visible gold)
- GD-25-376: 4.32g/t gold over 4.20m, including 5.47g/t gold over 3.20m (Surebet Zone with visible gold), plus 3.55g/t gold over 3.93m (Bonanza Zone)
All thicknesses are reported as approximate true widths and currently reflect gold assays only; silver, copper, lead, zinc and gold-equivalent values remain pending.
Multiple mineralised rock types and a growing footprint
The Surebet discovery now spans approximately 1.8km², with a system of stacked gold-bearing quartz-sulphide veins traced for about 1.2km and remaining open in multiple directions. Goliath reports that of the 110 holes drilled at Surebet in 2025, 83 showed visible gold to the naked eye, while visible gold has been logged in around 92% of all holes completed in the area to date.
The company has identified three principal mineralised rock types at Surebet:
- shallow-dipping, gold-rich stacked quartz-sulphide breccias and stockwork veins
- gold-bearing intermediate to felsic Eocene-altered RIRG dykes
- wide zones of calc-silicate altered breccia
According to Goliath’s interpretation, the combination of these rock types, together with the distribution of visible gold, points to a deeper magmatic intrusive “mother lode” feeding the system at depth, with mineralisation remaining open both laterally and vertically.
Company outlook and next steps
Goliath’s 2025 drilling campaign at Surebet was expanded from an originally planned 40,000m to 64,364m using nine rigs, as the company moved to systematically test the suspected intrusive source, the RIRG dyke network, the stacked vein systems, and extensions along strike and at depth.
Reflecting on the season’s work and the latest assays, the company comments:
“Despite all the drilling and the successes already achieved, Goliath Resources still has work to do at Golddigger to expand the project towards the boundaries of the various gold mineralization zones. However, the Goliath team is more than enthusiastic that Surebet is a rare, high-grade gold discovery. Once the company of founder and CEO Roger Rosmus has all the results for 2025, the 3D model of the mineralization will be updated to best prepare for further drilling.”
With remaining assays still to come and 3D modelling to be updated, the company suggests that Surebet has the potential to emerge as one of British Columbia’s more significant high-grade gold discoveries in recent years.
