Golden Cariboo Resources Delivers Broad Near‑Surface Gold Intercept at Halo Zone

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC | OTC: GCCFF | FSE: 3TZ) has reported a significant near‑surface gold intercept from drilling at the Halo Zone at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in British Columbia, further supporting the scale and continuity of the system.

Drill hole QGQ26‑29 returned:

  • 0.90g/t gold over 88.4m, including
    • 1.77g/t over 30.2m, and
    • 6.09g/t over 6.2m

These results sit within a broader near‑surface interval of 0.53g/t gold over 213.1m, highlighting a large mineralised envelope with higher‑grade internal zones.

GCC1
Intervals reported as drilled lengths; true widths not yet determined and gold grades capped at 10g/t.

Additional deeper intercepts include:

  • 0.97g/t gold over 6.35m
  • 1.11g/t gold over 2.79m

Drilling also intersected a new mineralised zone at the end of the hole, with the hole terminated due to technical limitations, indicating potential for further extension at depth.

GCC2
Intervals reported as drilled lengths; true widths not yet determined and gold grades capped at 10g/t.

Frank Callaghan, president and CEO of Golden Cariboo Resources, commented, “Drill hole QGQ26‑29 represents a significant near‑surface intercept and confirms strong continuity of mineralisation, while also identifying a new zone at depth. Consistent drilling results are allowing us to advance quickly toward a maiden resource, with the shallow, flat‑lying nature of the Halo Zone supporting potential open‑pit development.”

Golden Cariboo noted that this hole represents the final data to be included in its upcoming maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, with drilling to date consistently intersecting mineralisation across the deposit.

The project’s proximity to infrastructure, including road access and nearby communities, continues to support its development potential as exploration advances.
