Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC | OTC: GCCFF | FSE: 3TZ) has expanded its land position at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property with the acquisition of 13 placer claim cells covering 250ha at the Halo zone, northeast of Hixon in British Columbia’s Cariboo Gold District. The company purchased 100% of the placer rights for C$60,000.

Drilling is also ongoing at the Halo zone, where hole QGQ25‑28 has now reached 715m depth. The hole is testing a target northwest of the main Halo zone and has intersected intermittent quartz‑carbonate veining, silicification, and disseminated and stringer pyrite mineralisation — consistent with geological signatures observed elsewhere in the system.

Golden Cariboo said the drilling continues to advance as part of its broader strategy to systematically evaluate the Halo zone and surrounding areas, following a series of encouraging results from its maiden drilling campaign.
