Golden Cariboo Extends Mineralisation to ~600m Depth at Halo Zone

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC | OTC: GCCFF | FSE: 3TZ) has intersected mineralisation at significant depth at the Halo Zone within its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in British Columbia, following completion of a deep step‑out diamond drill hole.

Drill hole QGQ26‑29 was completed to a depth of approximately 660m, testing internal geological models beneath the company’s earlier discovery drilling. The hole successfully intersected multiple target zones and may have identified a new mineralised horizon around 600m vertically below surface, indicating strong depth continuity.

Logging at the end of hole describes andesitic tuff with moderate sericite‑silica alteration, quartz‑carbonate veining and disseminated to replacement pyrite. Detailed logging and sampling are ongoing, with assays from the upper portions of the hole currently pending.

The hole was collared from the same drill pad as QGQ24‑25 and drilled along the interpreted greenstone contact adjacent to earlier intercepts. Golden Cariboo plans to include QGQ26‑29 in its upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate, alongside 28 other NQ‑sized holes and up to nine historic holes.

Assays from nearby hole QGQ25‑28, collared approximately 80m to the north, are nearing completion and are expected shortly.

J. Frank Callaghan, president and CEO of Golden Cariboo Resources, commented, “We are very pleased with the early indications from drill hole QGQ26‑29. The successful interception of multiple target zones and the emergence of a possible new mineralised horizon around half a kilometre deep highlight the momentum building across the project. With additional assays expected shortly and our Mineral Resource Estimate progressing well, we are advancing toward a clearer picture of the property’s long‑term potential.”

The company continues to advance drilling at Halo as it works toward completion of its inaugural resource estimate and a broader evaluation of district‑scale upside.
