Golden Cariboo Completes 754m Step‑Out Hole Ending in Mineralisation, Expands Land Position

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC | OTC: GCCFF | FSE: 3TZ) has completed drill hole QGQ25‑28 at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in British Columbia, extending the system a further 283m beyond previous drilling and finishing in mineralisation just 12m from the Osisko Development Corp. claim boundary. The hole reached a total depth of 754.69m, marking the deepest test in the current programme.

The final core shows multiple zones of quartz‑carbonate veining, silicification and disseminated pyrite — consistent with mineralisation seen in earlier holes such as QGQ25‑25, which also ended in mineralised rock.

Assays for QGQ25‑28 are pending.

Alongside the drilling update, Golden Cariboo has applied to register 1,283.59ha of additional mineral claims within and around its existing 94,899ha land package. The expanded ground will support ongoing regional exploration, including future work targeting the northern extents of the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults.

Frank Callaghan, president and CEO of Golden Cariboo Resources, commented, “QGQ25‑28 appears to be a strong step‑out hole, drilled to 754m, that continued to encounter the same alteration and mineralization we’ve been seeing and ultimately ended in mineralization just 12m from the Osisko Development claim boundary. The extension beyond QGQ25‑25 and still finishing in mineralization supports the potential for a robust system. We are now looking forward to the assays as we continue to test the extent and continuity of the system. Additionally, we are looking to bolster our land package in preparation for future work on our regional targets.”

Golden Cariboo continues to advance its drilling across the Halo and Main zones as it evaluates the scale and continuity of the broader mineralised system northeast of Hixon.
