Elevate Uranium Limited (ASX: EL8 | OTC: ELVUF) has increased the mineral resource base at its wholly owned Koppies Uranium Project in Namibia to 76.2Mlb U₃O₈, following the release of a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource at the Namib IV deposit.
The new Namib IV resource totals 10.1Mlb U₃O₈ (Inferred) at a 100ppm eU₃O₈ cut‑off grade and confirms the scale and growth potential of the broader Koppies project. Namib IV is located around 10km south of the main Koppies resource and forms part of the same district‑scale system.
Elevate said mineralisation at Namib IV remains open to the northeast and south, with multiple untested exploration targets still present on the tenement. The maiden resource was estimated using Multi‑Indicator Kriging and demonstrates consistent mineralisation across a range of cut‑off grades.
Murray Hill, managing director of Elevate Uranium, commented, “The Koppies Uranium Project now has JORC mineral resources of 76.2Mlb U₃O₈, which we expect is likely to continue to grow. Our targeting criteria have now been validated with a maiden resource at Namib IV. With mineralisation still open in multiple directions and untested targets remaining, we believe this deposit has further to run.”
The Namib IV resource lifts Elevate’s total Namibian mineral resources to 106.4Mlb U₃O₈, spread across the Koppies, Hirabeb, Namib IV and Marenica deposits in the Erongo Region. On a global basis, the company’s uranium resources have now increased to 163.4Mlb U₃O₈.
The Erongo Region is one of the world’s most established uranium jurisdictions, hosting major operations such as Rossing, Husab and Langer Heinrich. Koppies sits within 50km of multiple producing and advanced uranium projects and benefits from established road, rail and power infrastructure.
Elevate said its proprietary U‑pgrade™ beneficiation process provides an additional development advantage. Demonstrated on Marenica material, the process can concentrate uranium grades by around 50 times while reducing ore mass by approximately 95% before leaching. A U‑pgrade™ pilot plant is currently operating in Namibia, supporting ongoing technical development work.
Elevate continues to advance exploration across its Namibian portfolio as it works to further grow resources and de‑risk future development options.
