Banyan Gold Corp. (TSXV: BYN | OTCQB: BYAGF) has reported several new high‑grade silver intercepts from drilling at the AurMac Project in Yukon, confirming the presence of multiple Keno‑style veins across several target areas. The latest results include the highest‑grade silver interval returned to date from the project.
At the Airstrip zone, hole AX‑25‑799 returned 3,408g/t Ag over 1.4m, within a broader interval of 352.64g/t Ag over 13.7m, marking a standout intercept for the emerging silver potential at AurMac.
Drilling at Powerline Central also delivered strong results, including:
- AX‑25‑810: 880g/t Ag over 1.5m within 273.35g/t Ag over 4.8m; and 248g/t Ag over 1.0m within 114.52g/t Ag over 4.1m
- AX‑25‑819: 20.35g/t Ag over 5.8m and 27.43g/t Ag over 7.7m
- AX‑25‑821: 731g/t Ag over 0.8m within 93.17g/t Ag over 7.5m
Elsewhere, hole AX‑25‑786 at Aurex Hill intersected 55.55g/t Ag over 2.8m, while AX‑25‑788 at Powerline Southwest returned 138.10g/t Ag over 0.5m, further demonstrating the widespread nature of silver mineralisation across the greater AurMac district.
Tara Christie, president and CEO of Banyan Gold, commented, “The ongoing discovery of new high‑grade Keno‑style silver mineralization demonstrates that the AurMac project remains underexplored with high discovery potential. Our plans for 2027 will provide meaningful catalysts for Banyan to continue to re‑rate, with our upcoming MRE, PEA, and 40,000m strategic drill program at AurMac, along with 10,000m focused on our regional targets.”
Banyan said the new silver veins reinforce the broader polymetallic prospectivity of AurMac, complementing the project’s existing gold resource base. The company is preparing a Mineral Resource Estimate update and a Preliminary Economic Assessment, both expected ahead of a major drill programme planned for 2027.
