European Lithium Ltd. (ASX: EUR | FRA: PF8 | OTC: EULIF) announced new assay results from its 2024 diamond drilling programme at the Fjord Deposit within the Tanbreez Rare Earth Project in Greenland. The reported holes, D-24, E-24, and F-24, intersected high-grade rare earth mineralization, with Total Rare Earth Oxide (TREO) grades ranging from 0.40% to 0.42%.
Notably, approximately 26% of the TREO consisted of heavy rare earth oxides (HREO), a key metric for evaluating the strategic value of rare earth deposits.
In addition to rare earth elements, the assays revealed significant zirconium oxide (ZrO₂) content, averaging 1.57% across all holes, and gallium oxide (Ga₂O₃) concentrations between 93 and 99ppm. These by-products may offer additional economic value. The mineralization remains open at depth in all reported holes, and the drilling confirms continuity of grade and mineralogy across multiple sections of the Fjord Deposit, consistent with historical data.
These results are part of the ongoing 2024–2025 Fjord Resource Upgrade programme, with over 1,900m drilled to date in 2025 and further assays pending, expected between late August and October 2025.
