Endomines (HE:PAMPALO)has reported new drill results from the southernmost zone of its Ukko deposit at Ukkolanvaara, Finland, confirming gold mineralization and supporting further exploration.
The company completed two drill holes in an area 5.8 km south of its previously tested northern zone, where outcrop sampling and electromagnetic surveys had indicated strong potential. Initial assays show moderate grades, validating Endomines’ exploration approach that combines surface sampling with geophysical data for BIF-type deposits.
Key intersections include:
- UKKO-027:
- 5.95 m @ 0.28 g/t Au from 25.80 m
- incl. 0.95 m @ 0.98 g/t Au from 30.80 m
- 9.75 m @ 0.33 g/t Au from 46.25 m
- incl. 0.85 m @ 0.79 g/t Au from 49.10 m

Kari Vyhtinen, CEO of Endomines commented, “Our exploration team continues its creative and bold search for gold. We have previously confirmed the presence of gold in the northern part of the Ukko deposit. In the north, we learned how to explore BIF-type deposits by utilizing the results of electromagnetic surveys. With that knowledge, we moved 5.8 kilometres south along the same iron formation—and now, in the first drill holes, we have hit gold. The grades in these initial results are relatively moderate, but at this stage, the most important thing is to confirm that gold mineralization continues across a broader area in Ukkolanvaara. The results also strengthen our confidence in the effectiveness of our exploration methods for deposits like Ukko. The iron formation at Ukkolanvaara is extensive, stretching approximately 7–8 kilometres, so we have only just scratched the surface.”
Endomines has completed 38 holes in the second phase of its Ukkolanvaara campaign, totaling 9,800 m, with assays from 19 holes pending. Drilling continues 2–4 km north of the current site, where visible gold has already been observed in holes UKKO-037 and UKKO-041.
The Ukko deposit lies 15 km south of the Pampalo mine and hosts gold within tightly folded BIF units, similar to mineralization styles seen in Archean greenstone belts in Australia and Canada. Visible gold has now been confirmed in 13 holes across the area.
