Endomines Finland Oyj (Nasdaq:Pampalo) has entered the next phase of its 2025 exploration campaign at Ukkolanvaara, a key prospect along the Karelian Gold Line in Eastern Finland. Building on promising results from earlier drilling and geophysical surveys, the company is now expanding its focus to newly identified gold-prospective zones in the central and southern parts of the licence area.
Located approximately 2-6km south of the initial drill site, the new targets have shown strong potential through surface sampling and electromagnetic surveys, with early drilling already underway. The campaign aims to refine geological models and confirm the presence of gold mineralization associated with banded iron formations (BIF)—a known host for significant gold deposits.
Jani Rautio, Chief Technical Officer of Endomines Finaland Oyj commented, “This phase is about deepening our understanding of Ukkolanvaara’s structure and unlocking its broader gold potential. Initial results are encouraging, and we’re confident these southern zones could mirror the mineralization seen in the north.”
CEO Kari Vyhtinen added, “We’re entering a stage I’ve personally been anticipating. This campaign is pivotal in shaping future investment decisions and defining the site’s long-term value.”
Situated just 15km south of the Pampalo mine, Ukkolanvaara has already undergone one drilling program, extensive geophysical work, and surface sampling. The area hosts the UKKO deposit, and remains Endomines’ primary exploration focus for the 2025 season. In addition to the new targets, the company plans to return to the northern drill site later this year to further define gold resources.
