Silver X Mining Corp. (TSXV: AGX | OTCQB: AGXPF | FSE: AGX) has reported additional underground diamond drilling results from the Blenda Rubia target near its Nueva Recuperada operation in central Peru, confirming the presence of a broad and continuous high‑grade silver‑polymetallic system capable of supporting larger‑scale mining.
The latest drilling intersected mineralised widths of up to 17.86m true width, with consistent widths averaging around 6.0m where constrained by drilling and geological modelling. Hole DDH‑BR‑003 returned an apparent width of 54.85m, equating to a true width of 17.86m, while DDH‑BR‑005 intersected 35.35m of mineralisation, confirming continuity beyond the current drill pattern.
Silver X reported that the results demonstrate that mineralisation extends beyond discrete veins into a wider mineralised corridor, opening the potential for bulk‑style mining in selected areas, while maintaining conventional underground vein mining elsewhere in the district. The company views Blenda Rubia as a potential low‑cost, scalable feed source located close to its processing plant, with the ability to enhance production flexibility and operating margins at Nueva Recuperada.
The system remains open laterally and at depth, with mineralisation extending outside the existing drill footprint. Ongoing drilling and modelling indicate that the corridor is controlled by two main structures, Vein 1 and Vein 3, which locally converge and are linked by veinlets, hydrothermal breccias and disseminated sulphides.
José M. Garcia, CEO of Silver X Mining, commented, “These results fundamentally change our understanding of Blenda Rubia. What we are seeing is not a narrow vein system, but a broad and continuous mineralized corridor that has the potential to support bulk‑style mining in selected areas. Combined with consistent silver grades and proximity to our processing plant, Blenda Rubia has the potential to materially enhance our cost profile and support our goal of building toward 6 million silver‑equivalent ounces of annual production.”
Silver X noted that Blenda Rubia is emerging as a key component of its broader production strategy, complementing high‑grade narrow‑vein mining at Tangana while enabling wider mining zones where geometry allows. This combination is expected to improve mining efficiency, reduce unit costs, and support multiple mining fronts across the district.
Step‑out drilling is continuing to expand the mineralised corridor laterally and at depth, while infill drilling is being accelerated to define continuity and support near‑term mine planning. The company is using multiple drill platforms to advance the project in parallel, with results expected to further define scale and support integration of Blenda Rubia into the Nueva Recuperada production pipeline.
