Silver X Mining Corp. (TSXV: AGX) has reported strong underground channel sampling results from the Red Silver target, part of the company’s flagship Nueva Recuperada Property in Huancavelica, Peru.
Sampling returned high-grade silver mineralisation across multiple continuous shoots, including 735g/t Ag over 65m of strike and 649g/t Ag over 40m. The results confirm a robust, silver-rich vein system across the Silvia and Rossana veins.
In response, the company has announced a 1,200m underground diamond drill programme to test the vertical and lateral continuity of the newly defined mineralised zones.
José García, CEO of Silver X, commented, “Sampling more than 65 metres along the vein shoot with approximately 735g/t silver clearly demonstrates the strength and continuity of the Red Silver system. These results give us the confidence to move forward immediately with underground drilling. By advancing drilling and development in parallel with production expansion, we are aggressively testing the scale of this discovery while maintaining disciplined execution.”
The systematic underground sampling on Level 810 identified four high-grade shoots:
- Silvia Vein – Shoot 1: 735g/t Ag, 0.45% Pb and 0.73% Zn over 0.56m across 65m of strike
- Silvia Vein – Shoot 2: 649g/t Ag, 0.40% Pb and 0.69% Zn over 0.50m across 40m of strike
- Rossana Vein: Additional shoots including 497g/t Ag over 0.92m and a zinc-rich zone grading 1.98% Zn
These results reinforce the presence of continuous, mine-scale silver mineralisation within accessible underground workings at Red Silver.
