Osisko Metals Incorporated (TSX: OM, OTCQX: OMZNF, Frankfurt: 0B51) has released new drill results from its Gaspé Copper Project in Québec’s Gaspé Peninsula, reporting 29 mineralised intercepts from ten recently completed drill holes.
The latest results include both infill and expansion drilling. Infill intercepts were drilled within the 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) model with the aim of upgrading inferred resources to the measured or indicated categories. Expansion intercepts were drilled outside the 2024 model and may contribute to additional resource growth in the next MRE update. Several holes returned broad intervals combining shallower infill mineralisation with deeper expansion potential.
Key highlights:
- Drill hole 30‑1155:
738.0m averaging 0.31% Cu (0.41% CuEq – infill and expansion) - Drill hole 30‑1156:
760.5m averaging 0.26% Cu (0.35% CuEq – infill and expansion) - Drill hole 30‑1154:
726.0m averaging 0.21% Cu (0.31% CuEq – infill and expansion) - Drill hole 30‑1148:
613.5m averaging 0.22% Cu (0.32% CuEq – infill and expansion) - Drill hole 30‑1151:
484.5m averaging 0.27% Cu (0.41% CuEq – infill and expansion) - Drill hole 30‑1149:
395.0m averaging 0.26% Cu (0.30% CuEq – infill) - Drill hole 30‑1150:
340.5m averaging 0.21% Cu (0.30% CuEq – infill and expansion) - Drill hole 30‑1153:
310.0m averaging 0.26% Cu (0.31% CuEq – infill) - Drill hole 30‑1147:
228.0m averaging 0.26% Cu (0.31% CuEq – expansion)
The company’s ongoing programme continues to focus on both upgrading resources within the existing model and testing extensions at depth and along strike. These new results build on previous drilling that has demonstrated the potential for significant tonnage additions at Gaspé Copper ahead of a future MRE update.
